Deteriorating the situation of Eritrean refugees in Sinai Va peggiorando la situazione dei Profughi Eritrei nel Sinai

At 15:15 I was able to talk to Eritrean refugees, tell me that Stan dividing, fear for travel elsewhere, or even sell to other dealers in the area. People are exhausted by this whole situation, seek immediate action from the authorities. Also report yesterday evening and was prevented from praying, they tore out a Bible and some prayer texts that were in possession of refugees, and were beaten because they do not get the money. We are also concerned by the news of: (ANSA) - CAIRO, Dec. 8 - A group of 63 Ethiopians and Eritreans and twenty 'was issued by smugglers near Suez City. They were arrested by Egyptian security forces for illegal immigrants trying to reach the border with Israel. The reported security sources saying that the arrest and 'been at a hundred kilometers from the border. Meanwhile, for the 300 Eritreans who are being held hostage by gangs of marauders from about a month are still in progress negotiations. " After the pain I have lived in the hands of traffickers, instead of finding protection and hospitality are treated like criminals arrested, the paradox that they are living in these hours the group of 63 refugees on the border with Israel. We recall the Egyptian state in its duty to provide protection to asylum seekers and refugees, as a signatory of the Geneva Convention of 1951. We appeal to the European community call for the Egyptian government to respect the Convention on asylum, and offers its willingness to accept refugees who are currently in the hands of smugglers in the desert of Sinai. We ask the Italian government to urge the Egyptian authorities for a real solution that does not increase the suffering, the refugees have already been tested by the many ill-treatment and deprivation of all comfort, material and spiritual. Need an emergency evacuation of refugees to Europe where it can be guaranteed the right to asylum. Fr.
