Appeal to the UNHCR for refugees in Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somali

Dear Dr. Antonio Guterres United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Now for a month, the Libyan crisis keeps us in great fear for the fate of displaced Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalis without any possibility of being evacuated by the European states. Many of these refugees are registered with your office in Tripoli, some hand in the refugee card which you have released. We also say many of them were waiting to be re located in different European countries, Canada, the USA, the current crisis broke, now we ask you to support all practices re settlement from the refugee camps in Tunisia to those countries willing to accept . Many Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalis are fleeing from Tripoli to Tunisia, as well as from Benghazi to Egypt, we must urge the international community to look after their evacuation from these North African countries that are embracing with great generosity of thousands of refugees fled from Libya should not be left alone to bear the full weight of the vast expanses of the refugee camps as temporary accommodation must find a rapid response to humanitarian evacuation of refugees and refugees who can not return to the country of origin such as Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somali. You can not leave thousands of refugees in tent camps with all the discounts that this condition implies, especially for families with newborns. We must also consider the ability to tolerate his presence among the population of Tunisia, a quick solution can avoid the risks of intolerance that put in danger the lives of refugees and their families. Need a plan for emergency evacuation from Tunisia and Egypt to Europe, Canada, USA, Australia, countries that are able to ensure the international protection provided by the Geneva Convention of 1951. We demand a strong commitment of UNHCR to reach a quick solution to this humanitarian emergency that has affected thousands of displaced Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalis who at this time are trying to escape the ongoing war in Libya. Yours sincerely Don Mussie Zerai
